Yashma Gill to quit acting for marriage?

Yashma Gill Opens Up About Quitting Acting for Love

When asked if she would give up acting for someone she truly loves, Yashma replied.

Prominent Pakistani actress Yashma Gill has opened up about marriage proposals and whether she would ever leave acting for love. In a recent fun interview with fellow actor Dananeer Mobeen, Yashma shared that she has received several proposals from men who asked her to quit her acting career after marriage.

Laughing while talking about it, Yashma said she often tells her friend’s mother to find her a proposal from Islamabad because, according to her, “there are no good guys left in Karachi.”

She also spoke about how people often think actors have plenty of relationship options, but that is far from true. “We are usually too busy working long hours and don’t really have time for dating. I think men also find it intimidating to approach us,” she said, jokingly adding, “If you are a good person, please reach out to me.”

The Tere Ishq Ke Naam actress talked about the common misconception that women in showbiz are too independent or not ideal for marriage. She said actors can manage both their careers and homes very well, just like anyone else.

When asked if she would give up acting for someone she truly loves, Yashma replied, “I would, but only if I feel completely secure and trust that person’s commitment. If I believe he can provide the life he promises and I won’t regret leaving what made me who I am today, then yes, I would make that sacrifice.”

However, she added with a smile, “I haven’t met anyone like that yet.”

On the professional front, Yashma Gill continues to shine with her strong performances in popular dramas such as Tere Ishq Ke Naam, Azmaish, Kab Mere Kehlaoge, Qurban, and Iltija.
