Violence Breaks Out at Sonu Nigam’s Live Concert in Delhi

Chaos at Sonu Nigam’s Delhi Concert Leaves Fans Shocked

This is not the first time Sonu Nigam has faced disruptions at a concert.

Chaos at Sonu Nigam’s Delhi Concert Leaves Fans Shocked. Famous Indian singer Sonu Nigam faced an unexpected situation during his live concert at Delhi Technological University’s Angie Fest 2025 when a part of the massive crowd turned unruly. The concert, which had around 100,000 people, had to be stopped for a while after stones and bottles were thrown towards the stage, injuring some members of Sonu Nigam’s team.

As things got out of control, Sonu took a moment to speak directly to the crowd. In a calm and respectful tone, he said, “I’m here for you so that we can all have a good time. I’m not saying you shouldn’t have fun, but please, don’t do this.” His words helped calm the situation, and after a short pause, he resumed his performance as promised.

During the disturbance, a student tossed a pink rabbit headband onto the stage, which Sonu had been wearing earlier. The crowd began chanting “Pokey Pokey,” adding a strange twist to the chaos.

Many students and fans felt disappointed by the behavior. One student called it “extremely embarrassing that a legend had to stop his performance and ask people to behave.” Another praised Sonu Nigam for handling the moment with grace, saying, “Even in that moment, he remained calm and dignified.”

This is not the first time Sonu Nigam has dealt with such incidents. Just last month, a similar scene unfolded at one of his concerts in Kolkata. He has also recently spoken out against the IIFA Awards for ignoring him in this year’s nominations, sparking conversations about his current place in the music industry.

Despite the trouble, Sonu Nigam’s calm response and dedication to his fans once again showed why he remains one of the most respected artists in India.
