Tiktoker Jannat Mirza reveals reason behind calling off engagement & plans for marriage: Details inside

Jannat Mirza Opens Up About Breakup & Marriage Pans

“I’ve seen many problems in the past, so now I want my parents to choose for me,” Jannat said.

Pakistan’s top TikTok star Jannat Mirza has opened up about her breakup with fellow TikToker and longtime friend Umar Butt, saying that although it was a difficult decision, she took the step with her parents’ consent.

In a candid conversation on a podcast with actor and host Ahmed Ali Butt, Jannat spoke about both her career and personal life. When asked about her breakup, she admitted that she was not ready to end the relationship at first, but she now believes it was the right choice.

“It was hard for me because I wasn’t ready to let go,” she said. “But I’m also thankful that it happened before marriage. Ending things after marriage would have been much more painful because that means divorce.”

Jannat clarified that she and Umar were never engaged, explaining that their relationship was still new when she realized they were not meant to be together. “It took me two years to make this decision,” she shared. “I tolerated a lot, but then I thought, if I can’t handle this now, how will I handle it for the rest of my life?”

She also spoke about her views on marriage, saying that she now prefers an arranged marriage with her parents’ approval. “I’ve seen many problems in the past, so now I want my parents to choose for me,” she said.

Reflecting on her personal growth, Jannat admitted that she used to be very forgiving and often gave people second chances, but not anymore. “I’ve learned that if someone hurts me, I can’t keep them in my life. My tolerance level is gone,” she said firmly.

Her honest and emotional conversation resonated with fans, who praised her for speaking openly about her experiences and for prioritizing her happiness and self-respect.
