Sushmita Sen slams paparazzi culture in support of Alia Bhatt

Sushmita Sen Defends Alia Bhatt Against Paparazzi Intrusion

Sushmita Sen takes to her Instagram and slams Paparazzi culture to show solidarity with Alia Bhatt.

Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen has spoken out against intrusive paparazzi behavior and showed support for fellow actress Alia Bhatt. Alia recently shared on Instagram that private photos of her were taken without permission while she was at home. Two men from a neighboring building reportedly captured the pictures, and Alia blamed a media portal for violating her privacy.

Sushmita, who has faced similar invasions before, reshared Alia’s post and criticized the media culture. She asked how anyone could be caught off guard despite repeatedly requesting privacy. “When are we going to draw the lines? Our right to privacy cannot be violated,” she wrote.

She explained that celebrities, like everyone else, need personal space. There should be a clear separation between public and private life. Using such incidents to increase channel ratings or attract viewers is unethical and inappropriate, she added.

Sushmita’s post highlighted the growing concern over celebrity privacy. She called on the media to respect boundaries and emphasized that personal lives should not be treated as public property, no matter how famous someone is.
