The squad has been selected from among the 24 players taking part in the Women’s Skills camp, which will conclude on 27 July in Karachi.
Pakistan Announce 15-Member Squad for Ireland T20I Series. Fatima Sana will continue to captain Pakistan women’s team for the upcoming Ireland T20I series. Meanwhile, the Women’s National Selection Committee has announced a strong 15-member squad for the series. The three-match T20I series will be held at Clontarf Cricket Club, Dublin from 6 to 10 August. Previously, PCB hosted Ireland women’s team on first tour of Pakistan in November 2022.
Notably, 22-year-old Eyman Fatima is the only uncapped player included in the squad. She earned selection after scoring 287 runs in eight matches at a 155.14 strike rate. Additionally, Eyman represented Pakistan in the inaugural ICC Women’s U19 World Cup in 2023. Furthermore, the squad was selected from 24 players attending the Women’s Skills Camp in Karachi.
The Skills Camp will officially conclude on 27 July at the Hanif Mohammad High Performance Centre. Afterward, the final 15 players will join a pre-series training camp in Karachi. Finally, the squad will travel to Dublin to compete in the exciting bilateral series against Ireland.
