As Pakistan gets ready to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr, former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan has also received some festive cheer behind bars. According to sources, four new sets of clothes, along with shoes and a waistcoat, were sent to him at Adiala Jail to mark the occasion.

The jail authorities confirmed they received the Eid package and delivered it to Imran Khan in time for the celebrations. This small gesture comes as the country prepares to celebrate the joyous festival.

Meanwhile, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is meeting today in Islamabad to sight the Shawwal moon. The meeting is being chaired by Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad. Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees are also holding separate meetings in their respective areas.

In addition, the federal government has announced Eid holidays from Monday, March 31 to Wednesday, April 2. This means Eid-ul-Fitr 2025 will be celebrated across Pakistan on Monday, following the completion of 29 days of Ramadan.
