This year’s Miss Universe competition continued to embrace inclusivity and diversity.
Victoria Kjaer Theilvig Wins Miss Universe 2024. Victoria Kjaer Theilvig from Denmark has made history by winning the Miss Universe 2024 crown. She is the first woman from her country to achieve this title. The grand event took place in Mexico City, with contestants from over 120 countries competing for the crown.
Victoria is 21 years old. She is a talented dancer, a young entrepreneur, and an active supporter of animal rights. Her confidence, grace, and passion helped her stand out from the rest.
The first runner-up was Chidimma Adetshina from Nigeria, a law student who impressed judges with her intelligence and poise. Maria Fernanda Beltran from Mexico, Suchata Chuangsri from Thailand, and Ileana Marquez from Venezuela followed as the next top finalists. Last year, Marquez made history as the first mother crowned Miss Venezuela.
This year’s competition celebrated diversity and inclusion. After last year welcomed married, plus-sized, and transgender contestants, the 2024 edition allowed women over 28 years old. Beatrice Njoya from Malta made headlines as the oldest finalist at 40.
The event was full of excitement, emotion, and inspiration. Victoria’s victory is a proud moment for Denmark. Her win celebrates not only beauty but also determination, kindness, and the courage to break boundaries.
