Earlier, Portuguese media reported that Ronaldo and Rodriguez’s relationship was in crisis.
Cristiano Ronaldo has put an end to rumours about a possible split with his long-time girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez. The Portuguese football star, who has been in a relationship with Georgina for seven years, shared a picture of the two of them on Twitter with the caption, “Cheers to Love,” showing that their bond is strong.
The rumours started after reports in Portuguese media suggested that the couple was facing difficulties and were only staying together for appearances. Some commentators even claimed that Ronaldo was unhappy and that there was little chance of marriage.
Psychologist Quintino Aries, who discussed the matter on a Portuguese television show, suggested that Ronaldo’s public behaviour in recent weeks hinted at personal challenges, including tensions in his family life.
Despite the speculation, Ronaldo’s social media post made it clear that the couple is still together. Meanwhile, on the professional front, Ronaldo continues his career at Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, where he signed a high-profile contract last year that will keep him at the club until June 2025.
Ronaldo’s gesture shows that, despite rumours and public scrutiny, his relationship with Georgina remains intact.
