Suryakumar to Lead India’s 15-Member T20 World Cup Squad. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a 15-member squad for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026.

The Indian cricket team will be led by Suryakumar Yadav, while Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson, Tilak, Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dube, Axar Patel will be part of the team.

Apart from this, Rinku Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, Harshit Rana, Arsdeep Singh and Kuldeep Yadav are also part of the 15-member squad, while Varun Chakravarthy, Washington Sundar and Rashan Kishan are also part of the World Cup squad.

The selection committee of the Indian board has made a surprising decision and dropped Shubman Gill.

The T20 World Cup is scheduled from February 7 to March 8, and for the first time in the history of the tournament, it will consist of 20 teams. The teams are divided into four groups.

Group A includes Pakistan, USA, Namibia, Netherlands and India. Group B includes Australia, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Ireland and Oman. Group C includes England, West Indies, Bangladesh, Italy and Nepal. Group D will include South Africa, New Zealand, Afghanistan, Canada and the United Arab Emirates.
