Petrol Prices Likely to Rise in Pakistan From March 2025. As per the media reports, the federal government is expected to announce a hike of about Rs. 4-4.50 in fuel prices effective March 1, 2025, based on changes in international markets and exchange rates.
The suggested rise in petrol prices results from bumpy shove-ups on international fuel rates along with a dollar-a-diminishing exchange rate.
The price of Brent crude remained stable, having wise ranges but often had minimal variable inputs affecting the local fuel prices.
If the increase goes as planned, the price of petrol will be increased from the current Rs. 256.13 to Rs. 260.13. Whereas, high-speed diesel and kerosene oil currently sell at Rs. 263.95 and Rs. 171.65 per liter, respectively.
However, in the market, kerosene is rarely sold below Rs. 300 and often as high as Rs. 350 a liter.
