This revised schedule aims to help households better plan their cooking and daily routines. The new timetable ensures full-pressure gas supply during three specific time slots each day.
Updated Winter Gas Supply Schedule:
Under the new plan, consumers will have access to gas during the following hours:
– 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM for breakfast
– 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM for lunch
– 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM for dinner
SNGPL officials explained that these hours were set in alignment with government guidelines to meet household needs during the colder months. They reassured customers that gas would be supplied at full pressure within these designated periods across all serviced areas.
Winter often brings increased gas demand due to heating needs, as many homes rely on gas for boilers and heaters. Shorter daylight hours and the challenges of maintaining indoor warmth further contribute to higher gas usage during the season.
