20 coal miners killed in Balochistan’s Dukki attack. At least 20 labourers were killed and seven others injured after a group armed men attacked coalmines in Dukki area of Balochistan, Pakistan in the wee hours of Friday.
District Chairman Dukki Haji Khairullah Nasir told media that the assailants attacked the miners with guns, hand grenades and rocket launchers.
He said the unknown attackers also set ablaze 10 engines and other mining machinery before escaping the scene.
Police, FC and rescue teams reached the pot after the attack. Police said the death toll may climb as several injured persons are in critical condition.
Rescue officials have shifted the injured labourers to hospital for treatment.

11-year-old boy kills mother while playing with gun in Lahore
An 11-year-old boy mistakenly killed his mother after he fired a bullet while playing with a gun in Lower Mall area of Lahore.
A case has been registered at Lower Mall police station on a complaint by her husband Khurram Jahangir. Police have started interrogating the boy, identified as Zulqarnain.
Reports said the 11-year-old was playing with the gun when a bullet hit his mother in chest. Asma, 33, was rushed to hospital but she could not survive.
The body of the victim has been shifted to mortuary.
Meanwhile, DIG Operations has directed the SP City to monitor the case and investigate it from all angles.
