PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has instructed party leaders to organize nationwide rallies with local administration approval and to avoid confrontation.
During a meeting with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur at Adiala jail, Khan emphasized the need for legal compliance and non-confrontation in their protests.
Gandapur, who had previously announced an upcoming rally in Islamabad, assured that the event would proceed regardless of any obstacles.
Khan, reflecting on the national political climate, expressed willingness to engage in legal and constitutional negotiations and reiterated his demand for the return of what he termed their “stolen” mandate.
He also urged the PTI to ensure that all rallies are conducted legally and peacefully, with no illegal activities. Khan noted that he was making productive use of his time in jail by studying various topics.

Gandapur confirmed plans for nationwide rallies and suggested forming a committee to investigate issues related to governance and corruption. He requested Khan’s input on committee members, resulting in the inclusion of a special assistant to the KP Chief Minister on Anti-Corruption, Muhammad Musaddiq Abbasi, on Khan’s recommendation.
