Pickpocket children gang traced in Lahore ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr. The Punjab Safe City Authority has detected a gang of children involved in pickpocketing activities during the ongoing shopping ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr 2024.
The authority shared a video of the group, supervised by an adult, taking mobile phones and other belongings from citizens without reporting the theft.
A gang of children was tracked down after a woman in Lahore’s Anarkali Bazaar received a complaint against the police about stealing a mobile phone.
After receiving the complaint, officials checked the CCTV footage of the area and found that a group of three children were stealing the mobile phone from the woman’s purse while she was sitting inside the rickshaw.

The video shows a child running in the other direction after stealing the phone. Later, the gang members can be seen leaving the car.
