Successful Security Operation in North Waziristan Eliminates High-Value Terrorist Commander. In a significant victory against terrorism, security forces conducted a highly successful intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan District, resulting in the elimination of eight terrorists, including a high-value target (HVT) known as Sehra, also known as Janan.
The operation, carried out during the night of 17/18 March 2024, was prompted by intelligence reports indicating the presence of terrorists in the area. Following an intense exchange of fire, the security forces successfully neutralized the terrorists, dealing a severe blow to their network.
Of particular note is the elimination of Sehra, who was identified as a key terrorist commander responsible for orchestrating the recent attack on a Security Forces’ post in Mir Ali on 16 March. His elimination marks a significant achievement for law enforcement agencies, as Sehra was a highly wanted individual, known for his involvement in numerous terrorist activities.
In the aftermath of the operation, sanitization operations are underway to ensure the complete eradication of any remaining terrorist elements in the area.
