CDA Partners with Private Firm to Digitize Car Parking in Islamabad. In a bid to modernize car parking facilities in Islamabad, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has entered into an agreement with a private firm, M/S AJCL, to digitize parking sites across the federal capital.

The joint venture, approved after a recent meeting of the CDA Board, aims to revolutionize car parking infrastructure in Islamabad. Under the agreement, state-of-the-art parking equipment and management systems will be installed in all parking lots throughout the city.

Following a competitive bidding process that attracted proposals from eight firms, M/S AJCL emerged as the successful bidder with a 75 percent revenue share. As per the terms of the agreement, 25 percent of the parking revenue will be allocated to the private firm, while the remaining 75 percent will be received by the Capital Development Authority.

The initiative, slated to commence implementation immediately, is expected to alleviate traffic congestion in the capital while simultaneously bolstering the local economy.
