PHC grants protective bail to Ali Amin Gandapur & Faisal Javed. The Peshawar High Court (PHC) has granted protective bail to Ali Amin Gandapur, the nominated Chief Minister for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Chief Justice Ibrahim Khan presided over the hearing of Gandapur’s petition, accepting his application for protective bail.
In accordance with the court’s order, Ali Amin Gandapur has been instructed to deposit a bond of Rs 100,000. The decision comes amidst uncertainty regarding Gandapur’s whereabouts during the legal proceedings, prompting questions from the Chief Justice himself.
“We didn’t know about the lawsuit,” remarked Gandapur’s lawyer, highlighting a potential gap in communication or notification regarding the case.
Faisal Javed Gets Bail
In a separate development, the PHC has also approved bail for Senator Faisal Javed, another prominent figure within the PTI. Similar to Gandapur, Senator Faisal Javed has been directed to submit a bond of Rs 100,000 as a condition for his bail.
