Pakistani Companies sign Four MoUs in UAE in a significant boost to Pakistan’s healthcare exports. Pakistan’s PID claims that several leading Pakistani companies have signed four (04) Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs). These MoUs were signed with international healthcare distributors at a high-profile business forum. These agreements mark a major step in expanding the global reach of Pakistan’s medical sector and strengthening international trade partnerships.
By fostering collaboration in medical technology, diagnostics, surgical instruments, and healthcare solutions, these MoUs are expected to enhance export opportunities and position Pakistan as a key player in the global healthcare industry.
Pakistani exhibitors from the surgical industry alone expect business deals of around $15 million as outcome of this exhibition. This does not include pharmaceutical companies’ potential business deals. As Pakistani Companies sign Four MoUs in UAE, it shows that the economy is turning around with new opportunities for the country. Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan Envoy to UAE also appreciated Pakistan’s successful participation in Arab Health 2025.
Pakistan’s economy is facing severe crisis for past few years. The country was at the verge of default just a year ago. However, the country’s economic team was consistently putting efforts to increase economic output of various sectors. For this purpose, Pakistan set a target of exports amounting to $60 billion in the next three years. Although, it is an ambitious target. But the overall performance of economic team is much better in terms of previous years. For instance, the country had earning of $4 billion from the rice exports alone in 2024. Similarly, the IT industry also saw an increasing trend in revenues in the past few months.
