According to Indian media reports, the woman was traveling in a private ambulance with her critically ill husband and brother. It is alleged that the ambulance driver, with help from his associate, assaulted the woman while keeping her brother hostage in the front seat.
The woman stated that as her husband and brother realized what was happening and shouted for help, the driver cruelly turned off the oxygen supply that was keeping her husband alive. As a result, her husband passed away. The men then discarded the husband’s body by the roadside before fleeing the scene
