ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police have suspended five personnel due to public complaints and a poor investigation, here on Wednesday.
According to the Islamabad Police spokesperson, a total five officials had been suspended over public complaints.
As per the sources, two policemen were suspended for demanding a marriage certificate from a family during the road check in Islamabad.
The police official stopped a vehicle at a check post and asked the couple to present their Nikahnama (marriage certificate) to prove their relationship, the reports said.

Later, the citizens filed a complaint against police personnel, prompting the police department to take stern action against them.
