Mushaal Hussein Mullick Warns Against Indian Attempts to Alter Demographics in IIOJK.
Mushaal emphasizes global support for Kashmiri struggle against Indian Occupation. Special Assistant to Prime Minister for Human Rights and Women Empowerment Mushaal Hussein Mullick has reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for the people of Jammu and Kashmir on Kashmir Solidarity Day.
Speaking at a press conference alongside senior Hurriyyat leaders Farooq Rehmani, Ghulam Muhammad Safi, and Mehmood Ahmad Saghar, she emphasized the significance of the day in sending a powerful message of solidarity to the resilient people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Mushaal Hussein Mullick highlighted the global community’s support for the Kashmiri brethren in their just struggle for the right to self-determination, emphasizing that they are not alone in their fight against the Indian illegal occupation. She described the people of Jammu and Kashmir as a barrier against Modi’s attempts to create an Akhand Bharat, stressing that both the Hindutva regime of India and the Zionist regime of Israel pose significant threats to world peace.
Expressing deep concern over the situation in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), Mushaal Hussein Mullick condemned the unjust incarceration of authentic political leadership and the Indian government’s ban on representative political parties in the region. She expressed fears regarding the targeting of prominent figures like her husband, Mohammad Yasin Malik, by the Indian government.
Mushaal Hussein Mullick also highlighted India’s attempts to alter the demographics of IIOJK by granting Kashmiri domiciles to non-Kashmiris, aiming to influence any potential future plebiscite. She cautioned against potential increases in turnout during upcoming elections due to illegal settlements and the issuance of Kashmiri domiciles to non-Kashmiris.
Additionally, Mushaal Hussein Mullick expressed concern about the eradication of Muslim heritage under the Modi government, particularly with the inauguration of the Ram Mandir at the historic Babri Masjid site. She accused India of involvement in acts of terrorism within Pakistan and urged the international community to intervene in curbing the expansion of the RSS terror network.

Mushaal Hussein Mullick announced the establishment of the Kashmir Consultative Committee under her leadership to formulate recommendations on the Kashmir issue. She also highlighted collaborations with the Higher Education Commission to establish Kashmir cells in universities and the creation of district-level Kashmir committees to raise awareness about the Kashmir issue at the grassroots level.
The press conference underscored Pakistan’s commitment to supporting the Kashmiri people’s struggle for self-determination and highlighted efforts to address the Kashmir issue at national and international levels.
