A total of 2.5 million metric tons of edible oil is being supplied to Pakistan from Indonesia.
ISLAMABAD: PM Shehbaz Sharif has made a huge stride in supplying edible oil to the people.
As per details, neighbour country Indonesia will immediately supply palm oil to Pakistan.
PM Shehbaz Sharif had a telephonic conversation with Indonesian President Joko Widodo on June 10 after which the Pakistani delegation visited Indonesia and held talks with the Indonesian Ministry of Commerce.
According to reports, around ten ships have been loaded with edible oil which will arrive in Pakistan in the next two weeks from Indonesia and Malaysia. A total of 2.5 million metric tons of edible oil is being supplied to Pakistan from Indonesia.

On the directive of PM Shehbaz, Minister for Industries and Production Syed Murtaza Mahmood settled matters with his Indonesian counterpart.
At the request of the Pakistani delegation, the Indonesian Ministry of Commerce expedited all related matters.
Notably, the first ship full of 30,000 metric tons of edible oil will leave for Pakistan on Tuesday.
The delegation that visited Indonesia included Tariqullah Sufi, chairman of the Pakistan Vegetable Manufacturers Association and Rashid Jan Muhammad, a member of the association.
