Prosecutor claimed “needs interrogation” to decide role.
LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency Saturday demanded custody of PM Shehbaz and CM Punjab Hamza in the money laundering case.
A Lahore Special Court resumed hearing for Rs 16 billion money-laundering case that nominated the PML-N leaders Shehbaz and Hamza.
The court was informed that arrest of accused is crucial as the investigation is required to prove their role in money laundering.

Prosecutor Farooq Bajwa presented before the court that the accused were not interrogated and FIA needs their custody for investigation.
The lawyer representing Hamza and Shehbaz while rejecting claims maintained that interrogations were completed when PML-N leaders were in jail.
He said that “two were part of investigations”.
The council for the accused claimed that the investigations have been going on for the past one and a half year
While FIA remained unsuccessful in producing evidence against PM Shehbaz and CM Hamza.
Earlier, the court had extended the bail for both PML-N leaders till June 4 (today).
