BANNU: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has declared that no operations will be allowed in the province and will make its own decisions.
Speaking at the Peace March in Bannu, Gandapur criticized those he called ‘American puppets’ for making poor policies that have harmed the people of KP. He emphasized that decisions should be based on past experiences, asserting that the people of KP are neither foolish nor reckless. As Chief Minister, he promised to prevent any operations in the province.
Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur emphasized the province’s rich history and the resilience of the Pashtun people, vowing to safeguard their autonomy. He pointed out the hardships endured by residents who had to leave their homes due to past operations and stressed that such disruptions would not be allowed again.
“We will make sacrifices for our country, but on our terms,” Gandapur said. “We have left our homes and faced hardships in other provinces. Despite our issues with how we were treated elsewhere, we remain steadfast,” he added.
Gandapur criticized the treatment of Pashtuns in other provinces and affirmed that decisions affecting Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would be made locally. He commended the people of Bannu for their strength and noted that their demands had been reviewed by a committee and addressed by the apex committee.
Gandapur stressed that decisions should be made independently, without outside influence. He also highlighted the importance of supporting madrasa children, who he said are dear to their hearts because of their religious education.
He mentioned that a committee has been set up to ensure that actions related to madrasas or homes will involve only the administration and police, based on agreed terms.

The provincial government has set aside funds for madrasa education, showing their commitment to religious education. Gandapur also promised to fight against corruption and drug dealing and to support the people of KP, especially the families of martyrs and police. Disrespect towards them, he said, will not be tolerated.
