Hadiqa Kiani has begun her flood relief operation through reaching out the communities in flood hit areas. Pakistan is facing devastating floods in its history. The government has already imposed emergency in the flooded regions in Punjab and Sindh. Earlier, Gilgit Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa regions were severely hit during the months of June and July. Now, the floods have hit central and South Punjab regions. Several steps were taken by the government. These include destroying embankments in Multan. However, the floods have already devastated millions in the affected areas. The 2025 floods have affected at least 25 million people at the present. Its damages may increase as the time passes.
At this point, the government is supporting the affected communities to an extent. However, it isn’t possible for any government to fully handle such a crisis on its own. The philanthropists, local and national organizations play a key role in assisting the affected people. In Pakistan, Hadiqa Kiani has always been on the frontline to assist the vulnerable communities.
She has again stepped up to help the local communities. Hadiqa has announced that she is letting people support the flood affected communities through her. For this purpose, she has made her home a warehouse for any support for the flooded communities.
At present, she is also in the field where she is assessing and supporting the community directly. Well, the social media users are also fully supporting her. One user commented that she is once again standing with the flood affected families in 2025. She also praised her compassion and courage.
Another user commented on her role in reaching out to the affectees of 2005 earthquake. Hadiqa was at the forefront in managing the 1005 earthquake which had devastated vast northern areas in Pakistan.
As the singer chose to stand for the flood affected communities. She has also opened up an avenue for other national icons to step up in the national crisis.
