JKSDMI Team Attends Farewell Event for Pakistani Consul General in Manchester. The Jammu Kashmir Self Determination Movement International (JKSDMI) team attended a farewell event in Manchester on 21st July. Raja Najabat Hussain Sitara-i-Pakistan led the delegation as Founding Chairman of JKSDMI. Councillor Yasmine Dar, Chairperson of the International Lobby on Kashmir, also attended the event. Mohammad Azam, Councillor Naila Sharif, and Yasmin Alam represented JKSDMI UK at the event.
The farewell honoured Pakistani Consul General Tariq Wazeer Khan and other international diplomats. Consul Generals of Iraq, Türkiye, Spain, and Bangladesh’s Assistant High Commissioner also received farewell tributes.
The Khushi Amdeed Community Group Tameside organised the event at Duncanfield Town Hall. The Mayor of Tameside and Former Mayor Councillor Tafheen Sharif participated in the event.
Community leaders including Noreen Shezad and Atta Ul Rehman also attended. Khushi Amdeed ladies and local representatives showed strong support for the event.
Raja Najabat Hussain thanked the organizers for supporting the Kashmir cause. Councillor Yasmine Dar praised community efforts for promoting peace and justice.
JKSDMI leaders invited diplomats to attend future events in Manchester and London. The event highlighted unity and diplomatic engagement within diverse communities.
