A notification in this regard will be shared by the central bank in a day or two.
Banks to Remain Closed on First Working Day of Ramadan. The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will remain closed for public dealing on 1st working day of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak, 1446 A.H., which shall be observed as a “Bank Holiday” for deduction of Zakat.
All banks/DFIs/MFBs shall, therefore, remain closed for public dealing on 1st working day of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak, 1446 A.H.
A notification in this regard will be shared by the central bank in a day or two.
However, all employees of the banks/DFIs/MFBs will attend to their official assignments on Bank Holiday treating it as a normal working day (except for public dealing).
