The list, compiled by a UK-based weekly newspaper, celebrates the brightest and most influential Asian personalities across various fields, including film, television, music, literature, and social media.
Aamir, 27, is the only Pakistani celebrity to make it into the top 20, surpassing global stars from Hollywood, Bollywood, and beyond. The recognition comes after a successful year for the actor, who captured the hearts of millions worldwide with her leading roles in hit dramas, showcasing her remarkable acting skills. Her immense popularity on Instagram, where she is the most followed Pakistani celebrity, also contributed to her global recognition.
Asjad Nazir, the newspaper’s entertainment editor, praised Aamir’s achievements in 2024, emphasizing her positive influence and ability to inspire a new generation. “The top Pakistani talent generated a lot of headlines this year and saw her global popularity surge. The popular star’s biggest triumph was a lead role in several hit dramas, which had many millions around the world hooked,” Nazir said.
