The names of 23 people allegedly involved in the London attack on former chief justice Qazi Faez Isa were added to the PCL and revoked.
London police ‘shuts case’ pertaining to attack on Qazi Faez Isa. The London Police has shut the case registered over the alleged attack on former chief justice of Pakistan Justice (retired) Qazi Faez Isa’s vehicle, citing inefficient grounds to take any action against anyone.
The Pakistan High Commission in London complained about the incident, involving Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporters hacking the former CJP’s vehicle outside the Middle Temple.
Following the incident, the High Commission made a complaint to the police over the instructions from the Foreign Office and asked the police to review the footage of the alleged attack and find the persons involved.
The City of London Police reportedly declined to take the case to court, stating that the available evidence doesn’t meet the threshold of evidence that would be enough to secure a conviction.
In Pakistan, heavy action followed the Middle Temple incident. The names of 23 people allegedly involved in the London attack on former chief justice Qazi Faez Isa were added to the Passport Control List (PCL) and revoked.
