ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) requested a report from Adiala Jail authorities regarding the facilities provided to PTI founder Imran Khan.
Chief Justice Aamer Farooq presided over the hearing, with advocate Azhar Siddique representing Khan. Justice Farooq indicated that the court would investigate the conditions at Adiala Jail to verify the facilities offered to the former prime minister.
Siddique raised concerns that Khan has been denied WhatsApp calls with his sons. In response, Justice Farooq asked for patience while awaiting the authorities’ report.

Earlier, IG Prisons informed the Punjab advocate general that prisoners have demanded equal treatment and the same privileges as Khan, including multiple daily meetings with their lawyers.
The prisoners argue that the special treatment afforded to Khan and other political figures violates the Prison Rules of 1978 and request a review and extension of these facilities to all inmates.
