Mushaal Hussein Mullick condemned the ongoing violence by Indian forces, highlighting the plight of Kashmiris under their rule.
ISLAMABAD: In a heartfelt tribute marking the 8th martyrdom anniversary of Burhan Muzaffar Wani, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, former adviser to Pakistan prime minister on human rights, reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of Kashmiris to resist Indian occupation until freedom is achieved.
Speaking passionately in a video statement, Mullick, former Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, praised Wani’s courage in challenging Indian subjugation, describing him as a symbol of Kashmiri resolve and bravery. She condemned the ongoing violence by Indian forces, highlighting the plight of Kashmiris under their rule.
Since Wani’s extrajudicial killing in 2016, Mullick stated that nearly 2,000 Kashmiris have been martyred, with thousands more injured due to Indian military actions. She emphasized that despite hardships, Kashmiris will persevere in their fight for freedom against what she termed as Indian slavery.
