ISLAMABAD: The Government of Pakistan has appointed 48 prominent business figures as Ambassadors at Large and announced the issuance of official/gratis passports to these distinguished individuals.
This decision follows the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) authorization as stated in their letter dated April 9, 2024, which recognizes these compliant taxpayers for their contributions.
In a notification issued on June 28, the Prime Minister of Pakistan has approved the issuance of these passports to the 47 following individuals:

Earlier on June 27, in a separate notification, Prime Minster Shehbaz approved the appointment of Mustafa-Bin-Talha as Ambassador-at-Larg in an honorary capacity.
These passports will be valid for two years. The Directorate General of Immigration & Passports has instructed the zonal heads in Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Multan, and Lahore to expedite the issuance process.
