ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced a public holiday on May 28 in all private and government offices and educational institutions on the occasion of Takbeer Day.
According to the notification, all public and private institutions, including schools, will remain closed on Tuesday, May 28.

Pakistan conducted nuclear tests on May 28, 1998, and the Asian nation observed it as Takbeer Day to acknowledge the country’s invincible defense capabilities and ensure regional stability through balance of power.
