RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Post Office has lost more than 500 million rupees in cases of theft and embezzlement, a report revealed.
According to a private news channel report, a total of 229 incidents of theft, robbery, and burglary have been reported in just three years in the Pakistan Post Office.
As per the report, 79 cases were reported during 2021–22, and 86 cases were reported in 2020–21.
Sources further revealed that, in these 86 incidents, the Pakistan Post Office has suffered a loss of 13.18 million rupees.

While 14 incidents have been reported in 2019–20, the Pakistan Post Office Department has suffered a loss of more than 256.2 million rupees.
