Continued Drug Busts Unveil Major Contraband Hauls across Pakistan.
ANF Seizes 2 Tons and 600 Kilograms of Drugs, Arrests 11 Suspects. The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) continues its crackdown against drug smuggling, resulting in the seizure of a substantial amount of narcotics and the arrest of 11 suspects. According to details, the ANF seized 2 tons and 600 kilograms of drugs during 11 operations across various cities.
At Lahore Airport, three suspects were apprehended with 1.5 kilograms of heroin and 175 grams of diazepam powder. In Peshawar Airport, 918 grams of ice were recovered from a passenger destined for Doha. Near Chaman Road, Quetta, authorities intercepted a shipment of 1 metric ton of charas. In addition, 1 ton and 300 kilograms of charas were seized from Qila Abdullah, while 120 kilograms of ice and 30 kilograms of opium were confiscated from Bonistan, Panjgur.
Two suspects were caught near the Motorway Toll Plaza in Sheikhupura with 49.2 kilograms of charas and 34.8 kilograms of opium. Near Islamabad Motorway, another two suspects were found in possession of 50.4 kilograms of charas. Furthermore, 11 kilograms of charas were seized from Zhob District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and 2.5 kilograms of heroin were confiscated from three suspects near GT Road, Lahore.

The arrested individuals are now facing charges under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and investigations have been initiated to dismantle the drug trafficking networks. The ANF remains committed to combating the menace of drugs and ensuring the safety and well-being of the citizens.
