Accompanied by his daughter Mariam, he cast his vote at NA-128 Model Town.
Aun Chaudhry, Isthikam Pakistan Party (IPP) candidate from NA 128, received PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif upon his arrival.
Notably, the votes of Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif, and Hamza Shehbaz are registered in NA-128, where PML-N has a seat adjustment with IPP.
PML-N decided not to field a candidate for NA-128, instead endorsing IPP leader Aun Chaudhry, whose election symbol is the “eagle.”
Addressing the media, Nawaz Sharif urged voters to participate in the electoral process, stressing the importance of a single party gaining a majority to resolve the country’s issues.
He emphasized the need to end the culture of disrespect and urged people to vote for a better future.
Meanwhile voting has been delayed at multiple polling stations in NA-130, where former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and PTI-backed candidate Dr Yasmeen Rashid are contesting, due to the absence of polling agents in Lahore.

According to the presiding officer of one polling station, although voting commenced at 8:00 am, it was momentarily halted due to security concerns.
Several polling stations in NA-130 began the polling process with representatives from only one party present.
In many stations, only PMLN agents are currently in attendance, with representatives from PTI, PPP, JI, and TLP notably absent at numerous polling stations.
