Pakistani Citizens Can Travel to Over 40 Countries Without a Visa, here is list. Despite Pakistan’s lower ranking in the Henley & Partners Passport Index, Pakistani citizens still have access to travel to more than 40 countries without the need for a visa, under certain conditions.
According to a document from the interior ministry, Pakistan has visa abolition/exemption agreements with as many as 48 countries as of December 12, 2023. This information was shared by journalist Zahid Gishkori on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday.
The document specifies that a three-month visa period applies to short-term or official business visits, while members of diplomatic/consular missions and their families are eligible for visas for the entire period of their assignment.
Although the Pakistani passport was ranked 101st in the Henley & Partners Passport Index, this agreement allows Pakistani citizens to enjoy visa-free travel to numerous destinations. Comparatively, the Indian passport was ranked 80th in the same index.
