PTI unveils manifesto for election 2024. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has revealed its manifesto for the upcoming general elections in 2024. In a press conference, PTI leader Barrister Gohar Ali Khan introduced the party’s manifesto, emphasizing key reforms in the education sector and a commitment to prioritize skill-based education upon assuming power.
Addressing reporters, Khan highlighted PTI’s stance on foreign policy, stating that the party aims to promote an independent foreign policy where relations with all countries will be based solely on Pakistan’s interests.
Furthermore, PTI proposed a reduction in the government’s tenure from five years to four, citing that a shorter tenure would be more efficient and aligned with the needs of governance.
Earlier, PTI had announced a list of 22 candidates for the National Assembly from Karachi. Notable candidates include Wali Muhammad Mugheri for NA-229 (Malir-I), Dr. Masroor Sial for NA-230 (Malir-II), and Khalid Mehmood Ali for NA-231 (Malir-III). Additionally, Aleem Adil Sheikh, Advocate Haris Meo, and Faheem Khan have been nominated for NA-232 (Korangi-I), NA-233 (Korangi-II), and NA-234 (Korangi-III) respectively. Aftab Jahangir, Attaullah Khan, and Malik Arif Awan are set to contest from NA-244 (West-I), NA-245 (West-II), and NA-246 (West-III) respectively.

It’s worth noting that all PTI candidates are contesting as independents under different symbols following a verdict by the Supreme Court of Pakistan. PTI’s manifesto and candidate nominations signal the party’s strategic vision and preparations for the upcoming elections.
