US Dinner for Gen Asim Munir a Diplomatic Victory for Pakistan & Kashmir: Mushaal

Mushaal condemns Modi’s plot to hang Yasin Malik

SAPM raises alarm over coercion in Yasin Malik case, urges global intervention

Mushaal condemns Modi’s plot to hang Yasin Malik. Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) for Human Rights and Women Empowerment, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, has voiced strong apprehensions regarding the alleged intentions of the Narendra Modi government to unlawfully execute her incarcerated husband, Yasin Malik. She condemned what she described as the Indian government’s nefarious attempts to implicate Yasin Malik in a fake and bogus case involving the murder of four Indian Air Force personnel in Srinagar in 1990.

Expressing her concerns, Mushaal Hussein Mullick accused the Modi government of pursuing politically-motivated and unjust actions against Yasin Malik. She emphasized that the occupation authorities might go to any extent to silence one of the most vocal advocates for the people of Kashmir, suggesting political motivations behind the move.

Mushaal Hussein Mullick further highlighted the alleged coercion of ordinary people to act as eyewitnesses against Yasin Malik to justify what she termed as a “judicial murder” aimed at suppressing the prominent voice of Kashmir. She called upon the international community, human rights organizations, and concerned authorities to take notice of the situation and ensure a fair and transparent legal process for Yasin Malik.

The SAPM’s statement underscores the broader issues surrounding human rights and political dissent in the Kashmir region, bringing attention to the challenges faced by individuals like Yasin Malik. Mushaal said that the kangaroo courts in league with the occupation authorities failed to prove a single case against her husband despite using all state machineries and coercion to find a little evidence against him.

The SAPM for Human Rights and Women Empowerment urged that the kangaroo courts should entertain Yasin Malik’s legal request of physical appearance in the court instead of taking his statement through video from Delhi’s Tihar Jail where he has been illegally incarcerated since 2017.

Mushaal called upon the UN bodies, human rights organizations and world powers to play their due to role to save Yasin Malik’s life as apartheid and genocidal Indian government could go to any extend to silence him.
