Health Minister Nadeem Jan, the driving force behind this initiative, emphasized that the reduced prices specifically target medicines essential for Intensive Care Unit (ICU) patients.

Breaking down the figures, Minister Nadeem Jan highlighted the impressive price adjustments. The cost of a 1 million unit injection, previously at Rs 2987, has now been slashed to Rs 1036. Similarly, the 2 million unit injection, once priced at Rs 4564, is now available at Rs 1737. The 3 million unit injection, previously costing Rs 5855, has seen a reduction to Rs 2591.
