Imran Khan arrested in GHQ attack case. Founding member Pakistan Tehrik –e-Insaaf Imran Khan has been arrested in May 9 mayhem/GHQ attack case on Tuesday.
Judge Malik Ijaz Asif of anti terrorism court heard the case on Tuesday.
SHO R.A bazaar police station informed the court regarding the arrest of former PTI chief and pleaded for physical remand of Imran Khan.
The anti terrorism court rejected the demand of physical remand of Imran Khan.

The Court asked the police to interrogate Imran Khan in jail.
Earlier talking to journalists the former premier said: “These people are conducting an inquiry against me regarding the May 9 incidents. May 9 is a conspiracy against us. Who stole the CCTV footage of my arrest from the Islamabad High Court, the attack on GHQ and Corps Commander’s House? Find the CCTV footage thieves, and all will be revealed.”
“It is a conspiracy to trap me; it’s a conspiracy against the PTI,” said the PTI founder.
Imran Khan was nominated as the prime accused in a challan submitted before an anti-terrorism court pertaining to 11 cases registered following the May 9 riots.

The challan, pertaining to incidents of vandalism at the Lahore Corps Commander’s House (Jinnah House), Askari Tower, Shadman Police Station and Sherpao Bridge during nationwide protests that broke out following Imran’s arrest on May 9 by the paramilitary Rangers, nominates the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief and other party leaders as prime accused.
