Urges UN SG to take cognizance of India state terrorism, resolve Kashmir dispute immediately.
Mushaal strongly condemns Modi govt oppression in IIOJK. Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) for Human Rights and Women Empowerment Mushaal Hussein Mullick has vehemently criticized the Narendra Modi-led government for escalating terrorism and imposing collective punishment on the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), drawing parallels with the plight of Gaza residents who demand the UN-mandated right to self-determination.
In a strongly-worded statement, SAPM Mushaal denounced the hindutva regime, accusing it of exceeding all bounds of barbarism and fascism to suppress dissenting voices in the occupied valley. She urged UN bodies, human rights organizations, and global powers to take immediate action against Indian state terrorism, citing widespread killings, physical violence, illegal detentions, and the deprivation of fundamental rights faced by the people of IIOJK.
Mushaal emphasized that the scenic valley’s residents are facing collective punishment for their legitimate demand for a UN-sponsored plebiscite. She highlighted the Modi government’s lack of respect for law and constitution, evident in its inhumane treatment of the occupied region’s inhabitants, inspired by the RSS ideology.
The SAPM for Human Rights and Women Empowerment expressed concern over the illegal detention of top Kashmiri leadership, including her husband Yasin Malik, under fake, fabricated, and politically-motivated cases. She asserted that these detentions aim to keep leaders away from the people, undermining the just movement for the right to self-determination.
Mushaal called for urgent international intervention to address the deteriorating human rights situation in IIOJK, emphasizing the need for accountability and justice for the oppressed Kashmiri population.
However, she made it clear that the notorious Indian authorities had been using such brutal, unlawful and inhuman tactics for the last over seven decades but they could not dampen the courage of freedom fighters.
Mushaal vowed that the IIOJK people were determined to continue their legitimate struggle till realization of plebiscite under the UN auspices. She reiterated that the lasting peace in the region was next to impossible sans settlement of the decades-old the Kashmir dispute as per aspirations and wishes of the people of the Kashmir.

The SAPM for Human Rights and Women Empowerment stated that the people of the occupied valley remained steadfast in their demand for holding of the UN-supervised plebiscite despite facing hardship and sufferings at the hands of the brutal Indian illegal occupation government during the last over 70 years; however, nothing could break their resolve.
Mushaal urged the United Nations Secretary General and human rights organizations to take notice of the Indian worst state terrorism and should take steps on war-footing basis so as to ensure early and immediate settlement of the long-delayed Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UNSC resolutions, which was pre-requisite for lasting peace in South Asia.
