Mushaal Hussein Mullick is serving as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan and Minister of State in Caretaker Setup.
Mushaal Hussein Mullick, born 23 October 1986 is a Pakistani politician and wife of Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Yasin Malik. She got married to Yasin Malik in 2009. She is a painter, an avid reader and an intellectual who works on multiple fronts of human rights and women empowerment in Pakistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir as well as Indian Occupied Kashmir.
She has served as Chairperson of Peace and Culture Organization in Pakistan. This organization works on promotion of non violence in the society and aligns its mission with that of JKLF and Yasin Malik.
Mushaal has faced serious life challenges as she has lived without her husband for most of her married life. Her husband is fighting fake cases in India for standing for the rights of Kashmiri people.
She was sworn in as Caretaker Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan and Minister of State for Human Rights and Women Empowerment in 2023.
Mushaal has a daughter with Yasin Malik. Her name is Razia Sultana and she has never met her father since birth. Both the mother and daughter face several hurdles in their daily lives.
