Champions Trophy 2025: Expected schedule revealed. The 2025 Champions Trophy is just a few months away as Pakistan is set to host its first mega-event in a long time. The tournament will be held from 19 February to 9 March in three Pakistan venues, Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi.
According to multiple reports, India will not be touring the country, with their matches expected to be held in the UAE, with Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Dubai shortlisted as the potential venue. This does not come as a shock as the relationship between the two neighboring countries have not improved, with the BCCI reluctant to send their team to Pakistan.
Despite that, all the other competing nations are set to tour the country for the Champions Trophy 2025. According to sources, the expected schedule for the tournament will include India’s matches in Dubai, including the Pakistan and India clash, while the rest of the matches will go ahead according to schedule in the three Pakistani venues mentioned above.
According to the tentative schedule revealed by the sources, the first match of the Champions Trophy 2025 will be between the hosts Pakistan and the BlackCaps, New Zealand in Karachi on 19 February. The final of the tournament will be held in Lahore in case India does not qualify. If India does qualify then the final will be played in UAE, with the venue yet to be confirmed.
