Punjab Home Minister Attaullah Tarrar confirmed PTI leader arrest.
Shehbaz Gill arrested by Punjab Police. Leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Shahbaz Gill has arrested by Punjab Police during by-election from a factory in PP-272 in Muzaffargarh on Sunday.
Punjab Home Minister Attaullah Tarrar while reacting to the arrest of Shahbaz Gill said that armed persons were present with the PTI leader and the arms are completely banned in Punjab.

He said Section 144 had been imposed on possession and display of arms. Commandant FC has stated that no FC official was accompanying Gill.
Tarar said that the question arises as to who the armed people were who were wearing FC uniform. The provincial minister said Gill has resorted to illegal activities to gain cheap fame and action will be taken against them as per law.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Sunday was prevented from entering the polling station of Basti Dogran by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers.
As Mr. Qureshi reached the polling station Basti Dogran, the PML-N workers surrounded the PTI leader and averted him from entering the polling station. Soon, a heavy contingent of police reached the spot.
Furthermore, the Returning Officer took notice of an issue of manual voting at the polling station in PP-217. He questioned the Presiding Officer in this regard.
The Returning Officer also inquired from the voters present at the polling station, while the Presiding Officer and voters denied the allegation of forced voting.
The Returning Officer also spoke to the former Minister, however Shah Mahmoud Qureshi also expressed satisfaction over the polling process.
